First Death

I got the call that I'd booked Glee when I was on set on CSI: Miami. I was the dead person. I played a heroin addict. I got kidnapped, my neck got snapped, then I got electrocuted and abandoned in an alley. So I'm lying there dead when David Caruso walks up. Everyone was like, "Wait till you act with Caruso-he's crazy, very dramatic!" And I almost cracked up when he opened his mouth, like, "Does he really talk like that?"

First Family

None of us had and idea how big Glee was going to be. I was just shopping in Whole Foods one day, and I got an e-mail saying President Obama and First Lady Michelle would like to invite the cast to perform at the White House. I mean...the White House! I still don't think it's hit me.

First Girl-on-Girl Action

The whole relationship between Santana and her sidekick, Brittany, is hilarious. In the last episode before we went to break, I said, "Sex is not dating," and Brittany says, "If it were, Santana and I would be dating." I asked director, Brad Falchuk, "Are we doing this because she doesn't know what sex means, or did we in fact hook up?" He said, "Oh, no, you hooked up!" I was like, "OK!"
