Chord Overstreet will return to "Glee" for a multi-episode arc, Fox announced Monday.
The announcement followed the decision -- which evoked the wrath of many "Glee" fans -- not to bring him back to the show this season after he debuted in the second season.
Overstreet's Sam Evans will be back at McKinley High beginning in December.
"We love Chord and have always said that we wanted him back," said Ryan Murphy, executive producer and co-creator of GLEE. "So here's an early Christmas present for all the Gleeks—Sam is coming back to McKinley, and just in time for sectionals!"
Added Overstreet: "I had the best time on GLEE and couldn't be more excited to be returning."
Overstreet’s character was introduced last season as a transfer student, and was discovered by then-football captain Finn Hudson (Corey Monteith) as he sang Poison’s "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" in the locker room. At the start of season three it was revealed that his family had moved.
In July, the 22-year-old actor tweeted of his exit, "It’s been a good year. Too bad it’s over. Time for summer and starting fresh."

Glee Sex Spoiler! Lea Michele's "Way Awkward" Hookup With Cory Monteith...
Cue the squeals and swoons…Finchel is finally getting it on!
Yes, Lea Michele and Cory Monteith’s Glee characters are going all the way, and Lea spilled all about their sexy scenes this weekend.
They were definitely hot, but not in the way you’re probably thinking.
“He was sweating so much,” Lea told me. “I was so grossed out!”
What got Cory so hot and bothered?
They had to shoot the sex scenes in front of a fireplace!
“Oh my god, it was way awkward,” Lea laughed while attending the 15-year anniversary party for Mohegan Sun Resort on Saturday night. “I adore Cory. He’s like my brother and to have to do some of the stuff we did in front of our entire crew…it’s so less sexy than you think. Really, we were in a room with like 20 people around us, sitting by the fireplace.”
But Lea says she’s happy with the results of their racy shoot and that her character losing her virginity has been a long time coming.
“I saw some photos and I was like ‘Damn! We look good,’ ” she shared. “As a fan of the show, it’s something I wanted to see for a while and it’s very interesting how everything plays out.”

Статус: Offline | Everyone and their brother has been talking about Finn, Rachel, Kurt and Blaine rounding all the bases in the fifth episode of Glee‘s third season, and we were so caught up in the frenzy that we almost let a little piece of gossip about another couple slip right by us! Don’t worry; we managed to snag it before it got away. Spoilers are tricky like that. And this bit of scoop involves bumping uglies, too.

Why don’t you put this bit of info in your pocket: Will and Emma might be on their way to finally doing the deed, too! When we asked Jayma Mays if things would be “going down” between her and Will (Matthew Morrison), she was quite coy…but not coy enough. “Well, I don’t know what “going down” means, but it could be true. It’s possible,” she tells us with a smile. Hear that Wemma fans? Possible! Also, we don’t want to send Wemma fans into a crazed freak-out session, but we also happen to know that Glee is looking to cast a doctor for an upcoming episode. Now that could be for anybody, but wouldn’t it be just perfect if after their first time Will and Emma had to visit the doc for a certain reason? Go on, take that scoop and run with it. Let’s just say that not everyone is enthused about Blaine joining New Directions. And they won’t be afraid to let their grievances be heard. Plus, could we possibly be meeting a member of Santana’s family soon? Glee producers are looking for a guest star (possibly recurring) that’s described as a Latin beauty. Maybe Santana (Naya Rivera) brings Brittany (Heather Morris) home to meet the parents? Brittan fans can only hope.
struckbyCcolfer: any news for Klaine Fans?
Their big episode is coming up real quick (Nov. 8), and we can reveal that Tina Turner is around for an important physical moment between Blaine (Darren Criss) and Kurt (Chris Colfer). Confusing but fabulous tidbit, right?

Ausiello: If you’re asking me whether Rachel and Quinn go to first base, the answer is no. The episode focuses on Santana coming out to her family, so I’m guessing the title — and accompanying Katy Perry cover — refer to that.

Sue’s anti-Burt mudslinging for Congressional campaign in full swing. He has a baboon heart! The cruel, cruel man! Sue claims that Burt is married to a donkey. Burt and Will discuss fighting back, but Will doesn’t want to do mean things.
Will digs up dirt on Sue. He discovers that Sue played the lead in Oklahoma! when she was in high school. She admits that she loved it and flashes back to tell the story. Sadly, her performance was panned by the school paper. She wants to stop glee club(s) so other kids don’t have their dreams crushed like hers were, knowing they won’t make it in show business. Will is happy with his new found ammunition.

McKinley High’s trailblazing sweethearts are set to consummate their relationship inGlee‘s Nov. 8 episode titled, appropriately, “The First Time.”
But as you can see in the following exclusive first look image, the outing also marks the introduction of the first significant obstacle for the happy couple — scheming, Blaine-crushing gay Dalton Academy Warbler Sebastian (played by Grant Gustin).
And make no mistake: This kid is trouble with a capital “T” that rhymes with “P” that stands for potboiler. A Glee insider takes it a step further, declaring Sebastian “our villain this season.”
