Glee
AfterEllen.com speculates on upcoming guest's storyline
"Little additional information has leaked out about Anne Hathaway’s impending guest spot on Glee. But what we do know is that she will be playing Kurt Hummel’s lesbian aunt. Still, one thing is perfectly clear: We have big expectations for Anne’s fictional turn batting for on our team.
Hathaway and Colfer have offered their own thoughts on what could happen when the Oscar-nominated arrives in Lima, Ohio. Hathaway told Jimmy Fallon that she envisioned her role as “Kurt’s long-lost aunt, his mother’s sister who is also gay, who comes back to help him deal with his sexuality, and I would sing, “You Are Not Alone," a song from Stephen Sondheim's Into The Woods."
Colfer, meanwhile, told MTV this week that while he didn’t know what was being planned yet for Hathway, he expected it would be “something big and emotional like every Hummel story is."
Still, that leaves a lot of wriggle room for the writers. And there are also a lot of ways that a storyline about Kurt’s lesbian aunt could go right or wrong. So in an effort to help the Glee team create the very best lesbian aunt they can, here are a few simple pointers.
Do: Make her a dynamic, memorable character along the lines of Gwyneth Paltrow's guest spot as Holly Holliday.
Don’t: Make her Kurt’s pregnant lesbian aunt.
Do: Make her a positive adult gay role model for Kurt (and Brittany and Santana – ahem).
Don’t: Make her wear flannel and play softball. Yes, many of us do both. No, we don’t need to see it again.
Do: Make her acknowledge Brittany and Santana’s unacknowledged relationship. Possibly she can cement what Paltrow is going to apparently help bring together.
Don’t: Make her depressed, suicidal, about to leap off her boarding school roof like a falcon or end up floating face-first in a pool.
Do: Make her help Kurt with something other than just his coming out process. Kurt has evolved past that. How about she helps him hone his gaydar instead, or learn how to become more politically active.
Don’t: Have her be in the coming out process. There are other gay stories we can tell, Hollywood.
Do: Have her kiss a girl and like it.
Don’t: Have her kiss a boy and even remotely like it.
So, there’s a quick primer for the Glee staff on how to handle Hathaway’s big gay moment. What would you love to see happen with Kurt’s lesbian aunt? What would you hate to see?"

Sexy is the 37th episode of Glee, and the 15th episode of the second season. This episode will air March 1, 2011.
Spoilers Holly Holiday returns and has been assigned to become a sex education teacher. Holly also began dating Will. Holly will sing 4 songs over the span of 2 episodes.
Will will savor making Emma jealous with Holly, just as Emma made Will jealous. Will and Holly will kiss, and it will irk Emma.
Terri is back.
Either this episode or the one after it will be Karofsky themed according to Max Adler. One of them will also contain Lady Gaga’s song ‘Born This Way’.
Holly convinces Santana to open up to her bisexuality. Apparently Brittany and Santana get together in this episode. Holly Holiday sets it up. “The series will start to explore Santana (Naya Rivera) and Brittany’s relationship on a deeper level. “A lot of my stuff is getting generally serious in a way,” Heather Morris says. “We just got a new script. … Santana and Brittany don’t want to talk about it because they’re in high school, but Brittany wants to talk about it because she has a boyfriend. Ryan Murphy really wanted to do that for the fans because all of the fans were like, ‘Why did you have them make out and not do anything else?’” But don’t expect more lip-locking anytime soon, Morris says.”
Sam discovers a new side to himself, he likes Santana’s forcefulness.
A Quinn/Finn/Rachel love triangle begins this episode.
Lea recorded a “classic 80’s tune”. Jenna recorded a ‘secret’ song that is apparently very fun, John Stamos recorded a song.
A scene was filmed where Holly is teaching sex-ed using a condom and cucumber. Its been described as a funny scene.
Holly gives Mike a zucchini to practice putting condoms on, while Tina gets a banana.
Brittany finds out that babies don’t come from storks.
Finn finds out that woman cannot get pregnant from the hot tub, this ties into the lie Quinn first told Finn when she mentioned she was pregnant.
Emma becomes the faculty adviser for the celibacy club.
Carl meets Holly Holiday.
Holly tries to get Rachel and Finn back together, its implied that she succeeded
John Stamos recorded a song.
Its been rumored from some of the glee writers that Brittany and Santana will not only get together but will have a scene in the choir room when Brittany gives Santana hot coco with sleeping pills inside it and Santana gets drowsy and Brittany helps her down the hallway and takes her to the bathroom and Santana leans in for a kiss and right before they kiss Tina and Mercedes walks out the bathroom stalls and sees how Santana is getting worse and helps Brittany to get Santana to the nurse

More on spoiler... The secret is out: Glee warbler Blaine is the “popular gay character” at the center of my bi-curious blind item last week! But those with a passing proficiency in mathematics no doubt read exec producer Ryan Murphy’s quotes in the current issue of Out — featuring coverboy Darren Criss — and put two-and-two together. “Blaine will openly question whether bisexuality is real,” Murphy revealed. “I think that some people will love that discussion and some will not love it.”
The issue of Blaine’s sexuality will be raised in next week’s episode, and in an exclusive interview with TVLine, Murphy cautioned fans to “watch the entire episode” before jumping to any conclusions.
Murphy also hinted that the plot’s message is more about common sense than sexual orientation. All but confirming that Blaine’s bi-curiosity is sparked by an encounter with a member of the opposite sex, Murphy teases, “I guess the moral of the story is don’t play spin the bottle while drunk on wine coolers.”

This is a photograph about a scene in a past episode which was filmed but was unfortunately cut. So sad they didn't show it. I don't know whether it's considered a spoiler or not but I put it under a cut just to be sure. And Cory will be on The Ellen Show on Friday! ***** The man in uniform is Finn’s dad played by a French-American actor Sebastien Cuk. His photo can be seen in 2 episodes Pilot and Home. The baby Cory is holding is Finn as a little baby. I hear the father-baby flashback scene was filmed and supposed to be included in Home, but finally and unfortunately it was cut out. What a cute bb Finn! and Sebastien is as tall as Cory. Finn’s height is inherited from his dad.
Radames125470 (via Twitter): My birthday was yesterday and as a gift I would like some great scoopage on Wemma from Glee please, pertaining to jealous Emma? Happy birthday! Here’s your present: If you have been hurting over the lack of Emma lately, the next couple episodes might just make up for it. Prepare for lots of Will-Emma scenes. Oh, and Sue will be around a lot too, in case you were missing Coach Sylvester as well. And we know you were!
xoxJessie19xox (via Twitter) Glee scoop! Do you know what boys like? Lauren sure does. And she’ll prove it in tomorrow’s episode. In a couple ways, in fact.
sportschick2624 (via Twitter): Anything Klaine related. Please and thank you! The Glee Valentine’s Day episode put a lot of hope in the hearts of Kurt-Blaine fans, but in a recent interview in Out magazine, Ryan Murphy revealed that Blaine will “openly question whether bisexuality is real.” Sounds like Kurt might have competition on both sides of the playing field. Not only that, but Mr. Murphy says it’s his “job as showrunner to keep them apart as long as possible.” Bummer city. But to make up for it, check out the photo shoot Darren did for the mag. Spoiler alert: he’s soaking wet in a lot of them. Yowza.
Spoilers from Ausiello! Spoilers if you haven't seen tonights ep or the promo
Question: OK, I’ll bite: Which female character does Blaine mess around with on Glee? —Lynne Ausiello: Fox’s promo department already spoiled it — he macks on Rachel! It all goes down at what Mercedes refers to as, “The Rachel Berry House Party Train Wreck Extravaganza!”
Question: Any good news on Tina and Artie’s relationship (or lack thereof) on Glee? — Emily Ausiello: I’ll do you one better: I’ll give you bad news on Tina’s relationship with Mike Chang! When TVLine’s Megan Masters grilled Harry Shun Jr. about the future of Tike/Mina, he replied ominously, “Sometimes when it goes so good, it can go so bad — and I will leave it at that.”
"There's a love triangle coming up, but that doesn't really work out for Kurt," Chris Colfer teases.
Ryan Murphy, co-creator of the show, got wind of this rumor and decided to share with us exclusively the truth of the matter. In an email he just shot over to us, Ryan explained:
"Blaine is NOT bi. He is gay, and will always be gay. I think it's very important to young kids that they know this character is one of them."
The Tik Tok Song will involve the members of New Directions being drunk after the party and getting drunker as the song goes on and then throwing up all over the stage, and one another.

HOLLY HOLLIDAY AND DR. CARL RETURN ON AN ALL-NEW “GLEE” TUESDAY, MARCH 8, ON FOX
Gwyneth Paltrow and John Stamos Guest-Star
When free-spirited substitute teacher Holly Holliday (guest star Paltrow) fills in for the absent sex-education teacher, she joins forces with Mr. Schuester to teach the kids of New Directions the facts of life. Meanwhile, Emma heads up the Celibacy Club, and she and Dr. Carl (guest star Stamos) address some issues in their personal life in the all-new “Sexy” episode of GLEE airing Tuesday, March 8 (8:00-9:01 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (GLE-215) (TV-14 D, L, S)
Cast: Matthew Morrison as Will Schuester; Jessalyn Gilsig as Terri Schuester; Jane Lynch as Sue Sylvester; Lea Michele as Rachel Berry; Cory Monteith as Finn Hudson; Jayma Mays as Emma Pillsbury; Dianna Agron as Quinn; Chris Colfer as Kurt; Kevin McHale as Artie; Amber Riley as Mercedes; Mark Salling as Puck; Jenna Ushkowitz as Tina; Naya Rivera as Santana Lopez; Heather Morris as Brittany S. Guest Cast: Gwyneth Paltrow as Holly Holliday; John Stamos as Dr. Carl; Harry Shum as Mike Chang; Chord Overstreet as Sam Evans; Dot Marie Jones as Coach Beiste; Darren Criss as Blaine; Ashley Fink as Lauren Zizes
***** Let’s go ahead and start calling the judges for Glee’s upcoming Regionals “The Supremes,” shall we, because this one-two punch of casting scoop definitely qualifies them for the title: Not only Kathy Griffin but Grey’s Anatomy‘s Loretta Devine have been named to the panel!
Although a casting breakdown that’s being passed around like a love note in third period suggests that Griffin will be playing a Sarah Palin type, my source tells me that Tammy Jean, the D-Listed liberal’s home-schooling Tea Party candidate character, isn’t really anything like the controversial former Alaskan governor. (Besides, what would be the point of trying to out-Palin Tina Fey?)
Devine, meanwhile, will tackle a sister act — as in Sister Mary Constance. Though the character wears a halo and a habit now, she is said to have worn a lot less in her former profession, at least by the end of a shift: She used to be a stripper!
You can "Blame It on the Alcohol," but we're so drunk on the latest episode of Glee we can't resist spilling and splashing some teaser-ific tidbits. We'll try not to do it sloppily.
"There are definitely some pink elephants in the room that are going to be addressed, for sure," star Darren Criss told Wetpaint about tonight's all-new Glee.
And while the episode's title suggests those pink pachyderms are prancing around because of the much-hyped alcohol awareness installment, there's another Dumbo-sized issue looming: Criss's character Blaine is front-and-center in this week's latest romantic complication. There's nothing like getting a surprisingly sexy kiss from an unexpected someone during a tipsy game of Spin-the-Bottle to bring up some serious questions about exactly who and what Blaine's really into. (We're not saying, exactly, but give the preview trailer a quick look for a major clue.)
As expected, booze plays a major role as Rachel tries to broaden her life-learning experience by throwing a big blowout when her dads hit the road for the weekend. Who gets loaded? Maybe the real question should be: who doesn't? And that includes a couple of choice members of the McKinley faculty.
We're getting buzzed enough to let you know that the show mercifully does not veer into heavy-handed "very special episode" territory, but it does include a lesson on the perils of drinking and dialing that, frankly, we should all take to heart.
By now you're probably aware that the soundtrack includes a heady shot from hedonistic hottie (and queen of Jack Daniels teeth-brushing) Ke$ha. Mix in a potent dose of Human League's "Don't You Want Me," a sidecar of the Jamie Foxx tune that inspired the episode's title, and a chaser of the barroom blues classic "One Bourbon, One Scotch, and One Beer" and your head will be spinning by the end of the episode.
After downing all that, things are getting a little foggy on our end, but we do vaguely recall flashes of a couple of other details: -- We get Burt Hummel's take on Brokeback Mountain. -- We're treated to a sampling of Rachel's dads' design sense. -- Somebody hurls, and forget the rumors: It's not Principal Figgins. -- And were we that messed up, or can Coach Beiste really sing?
We had our first hint of what’s to come in Season 2, Episode 15: “Sexy,” on Friday — but now Uncle Jesse (Dr. Carl) has offered us a brand new tidbit with this sneak peek pic! Accompanying the photo was the following tweet: “either me and @Mark_Salling lost a bet (outfits) or it's the FIRST look pic from "sexy" GLEE ep. airing march 8th."
Glee Debuts Original Songs on Glee: The Music, Volume 5 Available March 8
For the first time ever, Glee premieres two new and original songs on Glee: The Music, Volume 5, available March 8. “Loser Like Me,” an energetic ensemble track was co-written by pop mastermind Max Martin (Britney Spears, P!nk) and “Get It Right” is a moving ballad brought to life by Lea Michele’s immense voice. These original tracks will air in the “GLEE” episode TUESDAY, MARCH 15 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
Kurt/Blaine duet called ‘Candles’ and also the Warblers are doing Raise Your Glass. Everyone already knows ND/Lea are doing the original songs Loser Like Me/Get It Right. They “slushie” the crowd? I dunno, this hasn’t been filmed yet but it’s the schedule for today.
