Monica: Glee me! I'm hoping for some Brittana scoop! Will they ever get together as was promised?
How's this for a Christmas gift for you!? A source who insists they be called "Santittany" tells me that there will be developments between Brittany and Santana. And soon. And that should make Heather Morris herself very happy! We just talked to her about her new Flirt! cosmetics endorsement deal, and when asked about Brittany and Santana hooking up, she said, "Oh God…not that I know of. But I hope so. I miss [Santana]! We have such good stuff. It's not that I don't love mine and Artie's relationship but…" Speaking of that pairing, Lea Michele told us, "I love Artie and Brittany. And oh my God, he sings a song to her in the Valentine's Day episode that is adorable so I'm really loving them right now. " However, when we asked Heather what that song might be, she said, "I don't think I can reveal that. And I actually don't know because the episode just changed." Hmmm…

Jane Lynch: Sue Sylvester Throws a Hissy Fit in Super Bowl Episode

Making a post-Super Bowl episode, that's hard. Get ready for another Sue Sylvester tantrum, people.

When Glee returns from its winter hiatus, McKinley High's cheerleading coach will throw "a hissy fit the likes of which no one has seen before," Jane Lynch told The Associated Press.

"It's got so much firepower ... I try to destroy the locker room and principal's office. I try to shoot one of my cheerleaders from a cannon," she said.

The episode, which airs after the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 6, features the return of Gwyneth Paltrow, a guest spot by Katie Couric and a performance of Michael Jackson's "Thriller."

Is It True?

So rumor has it that Gwyneth Paltrow is headed back to Glee for the Superbowl Episode but who knows if it is really true. Jane spilled something about it but Jane has a tendency to throw fans for a loop…so believe what you wanna believe Personally, I think it’s not true but that’s just one girl’s opinion.

Academy Award winner Gwyneth Paltrow will reprise her role as substitute teacher Holly Holiday on the February 6 edition of FOX’s Glee, which will air immediately after the Super Bowl, according to TVGuide.com The actress first appeared on the show on the November 16 episode of the hit series.

As previously reported, the episode will also include a guest appearance by CBS News anchor Katie Couric, and a performance of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”

In addition, the Associated Press is reporting that series co-star Jane Lynch says her character, Sue Sylvester, will engage in “a hissy fit the likes of which no one has seen before.”

One of the story lines Glee is following this season involves Kurt (Chris Colfer) and his love life. Now that he has transferred to Dalton Academy, some fans are hoping that this means there will be a Kurt and Blaine (Darren Criss) relationship (or at least a kiss!) in the future.

Valentine’s Day Duet

TVGuide has reported that during the Fox comedy’s February 8th episode, which will be their episode for the holiday of love, there will be another duet between Blaine and Kurt. This time they’ll be singing “When I Get You Alone” by Robin Thicke “outside a Gap store as Blaine prepares to profess his love.” Wait, what? Colfer said that “there might be a development” between the two, but that certainly sounds like more than “might.” However, you never know what’s actually true, but another duet does sound promising. Their “Baby It’s Cold Outside” during “A Very Glee Christmas” was amazing (and just the right amount of flirty). It’s natural to assume their next duet will be more of the same. But Blaine could still simply remain mentor to Kurt and the series could introduce someone else as Colfer’s character’s boyfriend. Some fans are pushing for more to develop between Kurt and Blaine, while others would rather they just stay friends. Which side do you take?

Jonathan WILL return to Glee for season 2 when he returns from Deathtrap in January 2011; however, he will only be back for 9 episodes.

It was said earlier it would be just 2 episodes Groff would return for but now it will be 9 acorrding to a new interview e online did with Ryan Murphy.

Many “Glee” fans have been trying to find out the hottest scoop about the upcoming Super Bowl episode. Set to air on February 6, the highly anticipated show will be the first new episode following the winter break. But just two days after this huge broadcast, the cast of “Glee” will be back for more with a special Valentine’s Day show.

There are some serious developments in the works for some of your favorite characters. In addition to a special performance by Artie (Kevin McHale), the show will reportedly deliver a romantic storyline for Blaine (Darren Criss) and Kurt (Chris Colfer).

Lea Michele recently gave a little scoop about the relationship forecast for Artie and Brittany: “I love Artie and Brittany,” Lea confessed. “And oh my God, he sings a song to her in the Valentine’s Day episode that is adorable so I’m really loving them right now. With Brittana, I think it’s the same thing as Puckleberry: It’s sort of bad news, when they’re together they’re up to no good.”

But fans are even more interested in the relationship potential for Kurt and Blaine. Hold onto your hats! According to TV Guide, the first kiss between the two gay characters could finally happen on the Valentine’s Day show.

The duo will be singing Robin Thicke’s “When I Get You Alone” outside a Gap store as Blaine contemplates professing his love to Kurt. “There might be a development,” hinted Colfer.

'Silly Love Songs' is the 34th episode of Glee, and the 12th episode of the second season. This episode will air February 8, 2011, two days after the Super Bowl.

This episode will continue the second half of the series and will be two days after the super bowl, making it the shortest time between two episodes of Glee.

The episode was confirmed in a German interview with Ryan Murphy. The part in question translates to as follows:

[Talking about how songs get chosen] But of course we first have the scripts with the theme and story of the episode. Then we see what songs would fit and what we would like to see performed. That's how we did it in the planning for the Valentine's day episode, in which we will be featuring the best love songs of all time.

Possibly Paul McCartney tribute, hence the title. Ryan Murphy even said Sir Paul asked to have his songs on the show. An album called Glee: The Music, Love Songs will be released in conjunction with the episode. Only this album only contains old love songs.

Artie will sing a song to Brittany.

According to Heather Morris the Artie/Brittany storyline may have changed or been redone, she also hints at a Brittany/Santana moment, but Artie isn't going down without a fight (though, the source never said which episode the moments/developments are in. All they said is that it was soon)..

Twitter comments said that The Warblers, Kurt and Mercedes were filmed at a mall and at 'The Gap'. It was said to also include a performance.

Kurt will have a "sleepover scene."

Luke Edgemon will play the part of a Warbler who will fight with Kurt.

Sam and Quinn go through difficulties in their relationship.

An extra revealed that a kissing booth was seen on set.

It is stated by Lea Michele that the ending of Silly Love Songs is so sweet that she started to cry.

Ausiello: Would you believe me if I told you that the original draft of the post-’Supe script did not include Kurt or his crush Blaine? Well, believe it. Luckily, Ryan Murphy shoehorned the pair into the high-profile episode at the 11th hour — much to the relief of one Chris Colfer. “It definitely made me a little nervous that they were having a huge episode without my character, to be sure,” Colfer confesses. “But they did squeeze us in. We’re in it for, like, a minute, but it’s a very happy minute.” The Golden Globe nominee goes on to admit that life on the Glee set has been a little “odd” since his character left McKinley High for the far more inclusive Dalton Academy. “It feels like I’m on a different show,” he says. “It’s kind of lonely to be honest, because I don’t have Amber [Riley] there with me. It’s weird. I feel like I’m a guest star.”

Question: I can’t tell how glad I am that you are back. I am going through Glee withdrawal. Do you have any scoop for us? —Bethany
Ausiello: POTENTIAL NEW COUPLE ALERT: Rumor has it the show’s Valentine’s episode will feature a flashback to Puck (Mark Saling) and Lauren’s (Ashley Fink) infamous seven minutes in heaven. And as he previously raved, it most definitely rocked his world.

Question: Glee seems to have paired up everyone except Mercedes. Is she ever going to get a boyfriend? —M.K.M
Ausiello: Not in the near future. In fact, there’s a scene in Valentine’s episode where Mercedes gives Rachel a big speech about the advantages of being single. Apparently, while all of her peers were knee-deep in romance drama, Mercedes was focusing on herself. (Funny story: That’s what I told my friends in high school too. OK, sad story.)

Question: Will Finn and Rachel get back together in Glee‘s V-Day episode? —Amanda
Ausiello: Um, no. Finn actually has his eye on someone else. I’ve said too much!

Song spoiler for episode 12...

Kevin/Harry sing Pretty Young Thing in the hallway at school. Not sure if Harry actually sings, maybe he dances while Kevin sings. This was filmed earlier this week.

Gleeks, I’ve got such amazing scoop that I almost piddled in my pants when I heard it so I can’t imagine how you’re gonna react: EW has learned exclusively that the phenomenal Gwyneth Paltrow is officially reprising her role as Holly Holliday for TWO episodes of Glee in the spring and she’s gettin’ it on with Mr. Schuester!!! Says co-creator Ryan Murphy, “Gwyneth is coming back for two episodes. She’s coming back specifically to date Will [Matthew Morrison]. Those two have become really good friends in real life and had really good chemistry. She’s coming back as a sex education teacher. Gwyneth and I are emailing, talking every week: What are we gonna sing? We’re trying to do something fantastic. So she’ll be [in episodes] 15 and 16. She comes back [to film] in January and she’s with us for three and a half weeks I think.”

You think that would be enough but I have even more redonkulous news: Lady Gaga just this week gave the Glee producers clearance for tackling her highly anticipated new single, “Born This Way,” which hasn’t even dropped yet! Murphy reveals that the song will be used in a March or April episode and will be centered around closeted gay bully Karofsky (Max Adler). “I love that that song is anthem,” says Murphy. “This show is by nature optimistic and I think a character like Karofsky could turn to booze or pills or alcohol and kill themselves or do something dark. But I also love Max and I love that character and I sorta want that character to have a happy ending. So I don’t really know what that’s going to be, but I do know we’re going to do a whole episode that’s about that song.”

And there’s one more Glee favorite returning: Kristin Chenoweth. She will be back as April Rhodes in the last batch of episodes of the season for a multi-episode arc.

Season 2′s second half is looking awfully good and really, really blonde!

Heads up, Twitter: You’re seconds away from exploding. Sources confirm to me exclusively that Glee is doing a February sweeps episode that’s Justin Biebercentric.

Details are still sketchy, but I’m told the episode — tentatively scheduled to air on Feb. 15 — will feature the cast covering several of the teen phenom’s songs. Bieber himself will also figure into the episode’s plot, although there are no plans for him to appear in the flesh. At least not as of this writing.

This is shaping up to be a big February for Fox’s musicomedy smash, beginning with its post-Super Bowl entry on Feb. 6, continuing two days later with the big Valentine’s episode, and now, of course The Biebs.
